How do I get registered?
You can register for Coyote Kids ANY Thursday night (6/7, 6/14, 6/21, 6/28, 7/5, or 7/12) under the big black and white tent. If you run four of the six weeks you can still earn a trophy if you start 6/14 or 6/21. If we have to cancel any nights we will adjust the number for perfect attendance and participation awards accordingly.
What do the children get for participating?
Each child will receive a popsicle and a ribbon at the finish line. We ask that each child only go through the chute one time. It causes a lot of trouble with the results if they go through more than once. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Where can I get Coyote Kid updates?
In 2017, Coyote Kids started using a "Remind" notification system, which is also used by several local schools. Everyone who registers for 2018 Coyote Kids will be signed up for the remind notifications. Additionally, www.coyotekids.org and Coyote Kids Kokomo Facebook page will all announce if we have to cancel because of rain or wet conditions. Also we will try to get announcements on WWKI and Z92.
Where is the awards ceremony?
The awards will be on Thursday, July 19th at the Connection behind Morningstar Church. A child will earn a trophy if they come four of the six weeks and a larger trophy if they come all 6 weeks!
What time do the 25yd/50yd runs start?
The 25yd/50yd runs start at 6:15 and go until about 6:45 pm. PLEASE be sure you CHECK IN for attendance for these races. There are no bracelets for this age group.
